Formerly known as Pala Raceway, is a renowned motocross racetrack located in Pala, California. Originally opened in the 1980s, the racetrack underwent significant improvements when the Pala Band of Mission Indians purchased it in 2009. The renovations included upgraded tracks, enhanced amenities, and improved spectator areas, solidifying its reputation as a premier racing destination. In 2011, Fox Raceway hosted its first professional motocross event, the Pro Motocross Championship, which showcased the revamped facility and challenging track layout. Since then, the track has continued to host prestigious motocross competitions, attracting both amateur and professional riders. Supported by a partnership with Fox Racing, the facility offers a range of tracks and top-notch amenities, making it a popular destination for motocross enthusiasts of all skill levels in Southern California.
Founded in March 1968, the Dirt Diggers North Motorcycle Club (DDNMC)had a vision to host a motocross competition that would attract top riders to Northern California, leading to the creation of the Hangtown Motocross Classic. The inaugural race took place in 1969 at Murray's Ranch near Placerville, paying homage to the region's Gold Rush history. With approximately 150 sportsman riders and 30 pros participating and a $600 pro purse, the event laid the foundation for Hangtown's future success. As the race outgrew its original location, the DDNMC partnered with the Sacramento County Department of Parks and Recreation to establish a permanent facility. The facility was moved to Prairie City OHV Park in Rancho Cordova in 1979. Over the years, the State OHV Department collaborated with the DDNMC to enhance the park. Essential amenities such as sprinklers, fencing, restrooms, gazebos, and a state-of-the-art announcing tower were added. Despite pre-dating the Pro Motocross Championship, the Hangtown Motocross Classic remains the oldest continuously running national motocross event. The Hangtown Motocross Classic is proudly organized by a motorcycle club.

Located in the scenic and beautiful Mississippi River Valley, on the edge of its namesake stream, Spring Creek MX Park has some of the richest soil on the circuit. The earth here is actually great for farming, so it should come as no surprise that at one time this track served as a working farm. Unfortunately, the annual early-spring floods from the snow melt in the valleys made this parcel of land particularly difficult to cultivate. As a result, a man named Grant Marquardt pursued his interest in motorcycles by founding a hillclimb event here in 1967. As they say, the rest is history.
