Iron Mountain is located off of Highway 52 in Dahlonega, Georgia, in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. We are a 4,300 acre outdoor recreation facility with 150+ miles of off-road trails to explore!
At Iron Mountain, we're all about getting outside and exploring off-road! We have 150 miles of GPS marked and mapped, one-way directional trails. Iron Mountain also offers specific areas and trails for Jeeps and full-sized 4x4 vehicles, single track for dirt bikes, and a dedicated obstacle course area coming in March!
The trails are open every weekend on Friday-Monday. Helmets ARE REQUIRED on all Rental side-by-sides, ATVs, and dirt bikes, even in the parking lots. In full size vehicles such as trucks or Jeeps, seatbelts are required but not helmets, this does include personal side-by-sides
South of the Border MX Training Facility in Hamer, SC is located on the grounds of the world famous South of the Border tourist attraction. We offer motocross tracks that range from beginner to professional. Our training programs are tailored for riders who race locally and/or those who race on the amateur national circuit. The extensive onsite facilities like our gym, pool, bike shop, RV Park, restaurants and motel mean you can stay here with comfort as you train. SOBMX has perfectly maintained outdoor motocross, Arenacross, Supercross, and technique training tracks. Trainers Matt Bisceglia and Justin Rodbell will guide riders through fundamental riding techniques and give them the tools to become champions. South of the Border MX is truly one of the most complete motocross training facilities in America and we look forward to seeing you here at SOBMX soon.
